a new addition to the family
TaylorMade Rac TP 60degree lob wedge! Thanks piggie!!! =)
As my 56degree sand now plays around 90-100 yards consistently, I needed a lob wedge to attack the 80-90 yardage. I was looking for a wedge that can deliver the most spin and workability around the green. Titleist Vokey Spin Milled was my initial impulse. After viewing tons of reviews, although the vokey seems to deliver the most spin for an average golfer, most people complains about the groove wearing out quick and chews up balls. I needed a wedge that would last me a while and doesn't damage balls too often.. after all, once I actually know how to make the ball dance around the green, I will be happy with any current top-end wedge out there today.
The feel was great, the look was beautiful and it delivers a crisp contact to chip around the green.
BTW, I shot an 87 today, bringing my handicap down to 14.3.. wohooo..!!!! I hit my goal of 15 handicap by first year of play!

Sherill Park, course II. Whoa.. talking about a rough game. My drive was pretty good, iron play was ok as far as swing goes.. not too much on the down side.. but man... putting and club selection was terrible. 3-putting all day and shooting over and short way too many times. Not to mention the sand trap.. although getting it out doesn't seem to be the problem today.
Club selection was all over the place. I need to learn how to read the green for one... and actually estimate the yardage to the pin. GPS is not everywhere. .. and I don't want to talk about putting.
That one par 3 hole, elevated tee box, playing against the wind to 160yards.. man... I thought a 6 will do it.. though.
Shot a 97.. ouch!

The up and down of my game this weekend
Note to self: might not be a good idea to practice a new swing before a game.
Went to plantation for a game of 18-hole with Chris Germany this past weekendon a beautiful Friday afternoon. My game was off .. surprise surprise. Can't even hit a sand wedge right. Everything seemed to be disconnected. Things seemed to be back to normal by the 15th hole, but not enough to recover. Shot a 100! Then another round on Saturday with Henry. Now this time is different. 6+ for the first 9 and ended up shooting an 89. Not bad.

Oh shoot.. gotta go to CompUsa today.. my video card's fan isn't working.. which sucks.. coz I can't play CS Source without it.

the world of fashion design.. tough
You all know how these days is all about reality shows.. and recently I've been watching a pretty intersting show called Project Runway. It's about these select group of fashion designers that compete to be the final 3, to show their collection in a fashion show hoopla.. which the winner will be crowned bla bla bla ....
Creativity and talent is the key in this business. It actually makes me realize how time consuming this could take..and gives me a new found respect for the whole thing. oh.. and bullshiting is also very important in conveying your message about your design.
"Auf Wiedersehen"... cheesy line Heidi
